Scene from Ukrainian national folktale, Яйце-Райце (paradise egg), painted by Ukrainian artist Tetana Shakun. The story is an incredibly deep fairy tale, which shows that all troubles come from evil and only good gives harmony. It is an instructive story about how a small seed became the cause of a great war between good and evil. The egg is a symbol of new life and hope.

About the artist: 

Tetana has been drawing since childhood. Following the war, she has been providing free master classes to children forced to migrate from occupied territories in order to distract the children from the horrors happening around them.
