How to donate to Ukraine Aid Operations via a donor-advised fund (DAF)

If you want to make a donation to Ukraine Aid Operations, you can also donate via a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) - usually offering tax-advantages for you in the United States.

A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is essentially a charitable investment account. A donor contributes money (or other assets like stock) to the fund, receives an immediate tax deduction for that contribution, and then recommends grants from the fund to specific charities over time. The fund is administered by a sponsoring organization — like Schwab Charitable, or Vanguard Charitable — which legally controls the assets but in practice follows the donor's grant recommendations in most cases.

This only requires the following steps.

Step 1: Within your DAF account - Choose "United Aid and Logistics Foundation" (US EIN: 88-2498776) as chosen charity

Step 2: Recommend a Grant - Submit a request to your DAF sponsor to send money to our charity

Possible DAFs: In general, you can donate to us from almost all DAFs. We made very positive experiences with the following: "Charles Schwab" aka "DAFgiving360", "Vanguard", or "National Philanthropic Trust"
